Marivosso was born from a meeting of two forces — the jaguar and the butterfly.

In South American tradition, the jaguar's rosette spots were called Tigre Mariposa — the Butterfly Tiger — because the markings on its coat look like wings pressed into fur. The jaguar was a bridge between worlds: earthly and spiritual, predator and mystery. And in Spanish, maravilloso means marvelous — which is precisely what we see when we look at the natural world. We blended these threads into one name. The jaguar's authority. The butterfly's transformation. The marvelous beauty of a world still full of wonder.

Every piece begins with Osso Lovo — photographer, regenerative rancher, and artist — who moves through forests and farmland the way most people forget to: slowly, with attention.
